Dr. Donna Gasparro and Candice Raic have reimagined the experience of women’s health care through integrative holistic medical care in Toronto.
Femme Women’s Wellness, Medical & Cosmetics Clinic, located at Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue in Toronto, has distinguished itself as a haven for optimizing health and empowerment in a space that exudes a sense of calm. Created for women and operated by an all-female team, Femme is an integrative health care clinic that creates a plan that is uniquely curated for the health care journey of each patient.
With three divisions — Medical, Wellness and Cosmetic — a patient’s health care journey is fully optimized, with practitioners in all three divisions collaborating to enhance each patient’s experience and well-being. Among Femme’s many defining features, the clinic’s fully integrated health care membership holds a special place in the hearts of so many women in the community. The medical team provides a comfortable and open environment for the patients to discuss concerns, while also working with the other practitioners in the office to help chart the best course for each patient’s health care journey, whether it involves the Naturopathic Doctor, Physiotherapist, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Psychotherapist or Massage Therapist. Regardless of the nature of the appointment or treatment, the medical team of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians are committed to providing exceptional health care.
“Whether patients come here for physiotherapy, chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine or psychotherapy, everything is coordinated, and that’s not done anywhere else,” says Raic. “We aim to improve our patients’ quality of life holistically.”

Femme members also gain access to exclusive perks including monthly promotions, exclusive events, educational series on female-specific topics, support groups for female-specific issues and so much more. While the number of Femme memberships continues to grow, membership is not required to access services. Women irrespective of membership status are welcome to make appointments to utilize the services from any of the three divisions.
“It’s nice to, say, typically within a few weeks — even if you’re not a member — you can come in, have a medical procedure, like an IUD inserted or removed, rather than wait six months or more to get into an OB/GYN,” says Dr. Gasparro.
Many have sought out Femme for its Cosmetic Division because of its conservative yet elegant results and its commitment to providing only evidence-based cosmetic treatments. “For us, the best work is undetectable. Whether it’s a patient’s first-time getting laser hair removal, Botox, fillers, skin tightening or bio-stimulatory treatments, we are sensitive to delivering results that leave you looking and feeling refreshed. We want every patient to feel great throughout the entire process,” says Dr. Gasparro.
The sister duo, Medical Director Dr. Donna Gasparro and CEO Candice Raic, dreamt of creating an integrated health care practice that welcomes women to conveniently access their medical, wellness and cosmetics teams under one roof. They wanted women to experience feeling understood and genuinely cared for by skilled and compassionate female experts. “It really has been a dream come true to bring this unique concept to life. We are so honoured to be able to provide exceptional integrative care to the women of Toronto,” says Raic.
“Femme is more than just a health care clinic. It’s been a way for so many women to meet others going through similar experiences and is a way of supporting each other. It’s been so nice to see our patients build relationships with one another and our staff,” Dr. Gasparro says enthusiastically. It is this kind of community-building for women in the context of health care that further strengthens the sisters’ purpose from the very beginning.
As Femme moves forward, it is well-positioned to continue serving the women of Toronto and is excited to continue providing convenient, holistic medical care while bringing the community of women together.
